- Celebrate Commemorate Festival: Stop by downtown Waterloo and check out the vendors and live music in LaFayette Park, the reenactment and more music in Oak Island, and enjoy the parade in downtown on Main Street! Finish off with fireworks and dinner at one of the many restaurants like Ciccino's Restaurant or Starr's Restaurant.
- Visit the Memorial Day Museum and check out some of the historical things in town like the Terwilliger Museum or one of the murals painted on the buildings!
