178th Anniversary of Convention Days Luncheon

2026 Convention Days Luncheon, Saturday, July 18th at 11:00 AM - An advanced $35.00 ticket is required. Luncheon will be at the Seneca Falls Community Center. This year's luncheon will honor two amazing women trailblazers and heroes of their time. Coach Gloria Thornton-Peek is originally from Geneva. She is the 1st female boxing coach to coach Claressa Shields, who won a Gold Medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Gloria's Gold Standard Boxing program has provided thousands of youth and adults with life lessons and purpose over her decades of coaching and mentoring. Locally, she was inducted into the Geneva Sports Hall of Fame and the Rochester Boxing Hall of Fame and has received numerous other honors during her decades of boxing. Along with Gloria, we will be joined by a 101-year-old. old, Mary Masciangelo, a Rosie the Riveter from Rochester, NY. Mary a true servant to her community and country, from her work during WWII, volunteering for Honor Flight Rochester and her commitment to veterans. Mary was recently honored at the WWII Museum in New Orleans along with 30 other Rosies. She received the American Spirit Award and the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian award as a Rosie.
