Upon entering A Shore Thing, you will be pleasantly surprised by the welcoming feel of the large four season room. This room provides ample space for enjoying the magnificent views as well as entertaining guests. The custom kitchen offers all the conveniences of home! An indoor grill with industrial exhaust will allow you to prepare gourmet meals with ease all year round. The open layout of the kitchen/dining area and living room allows conversation to flow freely, with a partial wall dividing the living room to increase lighting and ambiance. Across from the kitchen, guests will find two well appointed bedrooms, both equipped with a queen size bed, and closets. Each bedroom has a flat screen television and ceiling fan to ensure your upmost comfort. Just down the hall is a convenient full bathroom with a double vanity, tub and shower. Step down a few stairs into the very spacious, north-facing master suite. Large, lakeside windows provide occupants a great view of the lake. Comfort was first in mind while remodeling this spacious suite! Features include a beautiful tile-faced, gas fireplace, 2 spacious closets, a flat screen television, and a sitting area for enjoying a quiet afternoon with a good book. The master bath is immaculate and offers a Jacuzzi tub, heated floor, and attractive design to enhance a relaxing vacation experience. At the other end of the long hallway is the sunken living room, with vaulted ceilings, featuring another stunning tile fireplace, a flat screen television, and sliding glass doors lead to an outdoor deck with panoramic views of the lake. The entire house is outfitted with a surround sound system controlled in the living room, so bring your iPod and enjoy your favorite music! A short staircase off the living room leads to the fourth bedroom. This room features a queen sized bed and flat screen television. One of the great features of this lake house is the spacious game room, which offers a pool table, dartboard, large flat screen TV, and a ping pong table. Screened garage doors are available to offer fresh air for those warm summer days, and during winter months the area is comfortably heated to allow guests to continue to enjoy these additional amenities as well. The outdoor living space is amazing at A Shore Thing! Newly added in late fall of 2017 is a 6 person hot tub settled on stamped concrete with ample LED lighting for ambiance. The level back yard with patio is perfect for outdoor entertainment and yard games. Be sure to bring your bocce set! Across the road is 100 feet of pristine natural lakefront, as well as a lighted, permanent dock. A Shore Thing is conveniently located on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Need a shopping day? A half hour drive south will lead directly into downtown Ithaca, where guests will find quaint restaurants, great shopping, and breathtaking waterfalls (Taughannock Falls and Buttermilk Falls are only a couple of spectacular waterfalls worth visiting)! Note: Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in description. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets. All of our vacation rentals are professionally cleaned by our trained housekeeping staff in between each reservation. We continue to maintain the highest housekeeping standards. We use a CDC-approved commercial grade disinfectant on all hard and soft surfaces throughout each home with increased focused on high touch point areas such as light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc. These efforts provide you the peace of mind to experience a sanitized, clean, and disinfected home to enjoy. All of our rentals include professionally cleaned linens from our laundry facility that are washed, bleached, folded and wrapped by our staff wearing PPE. We do not outsource any linens, towels, or cleaning supplies. All of our guests also have the security of a local 24/7 manager on duty to respond to their needs throughout their stay.
