Nestled on a quiet road overlooking Seneca Lake you can find The Heron House. This home was built with comfort and relaxation in mind. So leave your worries at the door as you enter this stunning home. Beautifully decorated from top to bottom, this home is sure to meet all of your needs. Beyond the foyer is a quaint office space and first floor bathroom. The open dining/living area feature eight foot high sliding glass doors with picturesque views of the lake. An updated kitchen provides ample cooking and gathering space to entertain with family and friends. You can unwind on the couch next to the working gas fireplace or step out onto your deck and enjoy an evening night-cap as you overlook the cascading hills on the Finger Lakes. After the sun sets, head inside to the homes 4 bedrooms. The first bedroom is located just off the living area and offers a Queen bed and a television. Upstairs you will find 3 additional bedrooms and a full bath with tub/shower combo. The Master bedroom features a King size bed, a sitting area with 42" flat screen TV and queen sleeper sofa, and panoramic views of the lake. Outside the kids will love the "Pirate Ship", a two tiered, 15 foot long wooden replica, complete with gangplank and steering wheel. On your walk down to the water you pass under a large gazebo to a gradual, 110' length of beach complete with wooden patio area under an overhanging tree. Fish at the end of the boat dock or relax and watch the waves wash across the lake. The lake bottom is almost entirely free of rocks and is shallow enough for children to swim. Heron House is located in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, directly across Seneca Lake from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. It is less than a ten minute drive to downtown Geneva, Wegman's Grocery, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva on the Lake, and the Belhurst Castle. Heron House is also less than a twenty minute drive to the Del Lago Resort & Casino, Waterloo Premium Outlets and four public golf courses; a twenty-five minute drive to the Finger Lakes Drive-In Movie Theater; and a thirty-five minute drive to the Finger Lakes Racino. RR Tracks run alongside Edgewood Drive. Trains go approximately 10-15 mph, about 2 times per week.
