I have always found the secret to creating art is a long process of experimentation. I began my interest in glass art when I came upon a book about mosaics. After learning the basics I began to seek out new techniques through collaborating with other artists and learning from renowned glass artists. Through my mosaics I experimented with wall art, sculptural forms, and jewelry. As I discovered different ways to create new and unique pieces I began to explore every aspect of a mosaic, leading me to the individual tile of glass. This is where my love of glass art began. I work in my studio to create beautiful forms and patterns. My pieces explore the different colors, transparencies, and textures that can be achieved with glass.
