The Return of Edward Keeler: A Murder Mystery Dinner

In the late 19th century, Edward Keeler ran the Long Bridge Inn in the vicinity of the New York Central Railroad and the Cayuga & Seneca Canal, on the site of what is now the Seneca Falls Country Club. A cantankerous old skinflint, Edward worked in cahoots with certain conductors to find “emergency” reasons for the train to stop at Edward’s inn for longer than usual. Passengers and crew were forced to stay the night and thus forced to spend money at Edward’s establishment. Edward would then give the conductors a cut of the profits.
