The Perfect Pairs origin runs deep. The creation happened right here in Seneca Falls, at the (then) Hotel Clarence, downtown. Tameika came abord coming hot off the heels of an already successful run as a dominant front of the house force. With both high education and real world hospitality skills, every owner/manager would be hard pressed not to put her in the head of house position. It was there that she witnessed Benjamin be recruited as the new sous chef. Armed with a Le Cordon Bleu degree, he was poised to take De Cuisine and then the Executive chef role, and did. It was during that time The Perfect Pair was born. Originally it was a menu project for Tameika’s hospitality class. During a brainstorm session over staff meal, they came up with a ‘hand fruit’ themed menu and named the fictious restaurant “The Perfect Pear”. Just over ten years later, after being friends, falling in love, children and marriage, their dream of starting their own piece of the hospitality industry is becoming a reality. Working together professionally several times and proving their success as a force to be reckoned with, it’s only fitting to call on that menu project years ago for their name. Now here they are embarking on yet another endeavor together, combining their years of excellent service with the absolute best culinary creations.
