Seneca County Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting Celebrating Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Ext.

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, the Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Ext. hosted an open house and ribbon cutting celebration with staff, members of the community, and local representatives.

Attendance included Seneca County Chamber President & CEO Jeff Shipley, Chamber staff, Chamber board members, local government representatives and Seneca County Supervisors, as well as many members of the community and Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Ext. hosted tours of their new location with refreshments for visitors and celebrated a farewell to their 4-H Educator, Paige Podgorski and Environmental & Natural Resource Educator, Ryan Staychock. They also welcomed their new 4-H Educator, Karen Burcroff.
