Waterloo Library & Historical Society
The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce hosted its March 2026 Business After Hours event at the Waterloo Library & Historical Society on Wednesday March 18th, 2026.
In attendance were numerous Chamber staff and board members, library board members and staff, and numerous members of the community. Refreshments were provided by Ciccino’s and Montezuma Winery and the Girl Scouts from NYPENN Pathways, Inc., were present to sell cookies.
The Waterloo Library & Historical Society was awarded Business of the Month for March and is celebrating its 150th year in 2026. The library was founded in the 1800s and today is run together with the Waterloo Historical Society, Fatzinger Hall, and the Memorial Day Museum. They offer several programs to the community ranging from crafts to play productions, as well as a pantry for any who may need food or household goods when they’re available.
The library is hosting multiple fundraising events this summer, including their prom-themed dinner on June 12th, their Adult Book Fair at WeBe Brewing in Geneva on July 25th, and the 2026 Cookie Fun Run and Bookish 5K on August 15th.
